Introducing the MobileTrac 900
from GPSFlight! The first completely
handheld GPS tracking system used to
track & reocrd remote transmitters without a PC.
The hand-held MobileTrac integrates a
GPSFlight RX Base capability with the
capabilities of GPSFlight tracking
software into a hand-held device
utilizing a SD card slot. The
unit includes a display which tracks
positions of all reporting GPSFlight
transmitters in the area. With
MobileTrac, it is possible to track and
see and record GPSFlight telemetry data
in the palm of your hand!
The MobileTrac 900 is a solution for
users who cannot use a PC in the field,
or who want a more portable tracking
platform. The MobileTrac 900 is
operated via a series of menus which
provide a wide range of information about the
units being tracked.

In addition to displaying real-time
TracID data collected wirelessly from
any number of GPSFlight transmitters,
the MobileTrac 900 has some other
exciting features that makes a must for
any mobile tracking application.

Handheld GPS Integration
Connect any standard handheld
GPS to the MobileTrac 900s DB-9
data port, and it will create
Icons on the GPS screen! It does
this by creating waypoints on
the fly, and updating them as
the TracID units move around.
This allows a moving-map display
of the TracID assets in
real-time using your existing
NMEA standard GPS equipment. A
big benefit here is that most
GPS units allow a Go To
setting to any waypoint, so
tracking remote GPSFlight
transmitters is now possible
without having to key in
lat/long information!
Recording and Playback
The MobileTrac 900 includes
onboard SD Card Memory which can record
the full TracID data set coming
in over the air link. Any
number of TracIDs can be
recorded for playback later
using GPS-TEAM software. The
recorder function will store
over 500 hours of data at a 1
second update.
Downloading the data is done
directly to GPS-TEAM software,
where the files can be saved for
later analysis.
