Announcing GPSTeam Pro- 12/2007
GPSTeam Pro has been released and is now available.
This application is available in two different versions, GPSTeam
Pro Single User Version, and GPSTeam Pro Multi-User Version.
New STXe Version Released
- 1/2007
GPSFlight has released a new version of the popular STXe
telemetry platform. The new version (V2.1) provides a more
sensitive tracking capability that is able to hold tracking even
while inside many structures. The key to this new release
is a newly engineered noise reduction circuit which enables the
GPS subsystem to lock faster and hold longer that was previously
possible.
GPSFlight Releases
new version of GPSTeam - 12/2006
GPSTeam V2 is entering Beta.
This powerful new application is designed for customers with
moving mapping needs, and provides powerful tools to handle and
track large numbers of assets onscreen.

Edwards AFB Deploys GPSFlight
Technology - 9/2006
Edwards AFB deploys broad
coverage of entire base area and integrates GPSTeam into Base
Management System for control and security purposes, tracking
personnel and vehicles base wide. By deploying their own
base stations at a fraction of the cost of cellular or other
solutions, they were able to deploy at a fraction of the cost of
any other solution.

1 Watt Transmitter/Receivers
Now Shipping -
4/2006
GPSFlight, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of 1W
radio units for the STXe wireless GPS telemetry transmitter and
RX3B receiver. Mounted onto the STXe via an extremely thin
adapter, the 1W radio upgrade provides 256-bit AES encryption
and the highest power output allowed by the FCC (1 mW - 1 W,
software selectable.)
The 1-Watt upgrade extends the
practical range of GPSFlight's STXe units to well over 3500' in
urban environments, and to over 40 miles line of sight.
Like the RX3B, the 1-Watt receiver plugs directly into the USB
of a laptop or PC or may be powered via adapter where AC power
is available. When combined with GPSFlight's patented
TracID™ protocol, the system is an
effective portable tracking network.

GPSFlight, Inc. Releases Decode
SDK
New library provides access to powerful wireless GPS tracking
protocol from inside your mapping application!
Bellevue, WA –based GPSFlight, Inc. has released a Decode DLL
software library that brings the power of wireless GPS telemetry
to any Windows application. Delivered as a COM object complete
with documentation, the Decode library allows application
developers to add support for GPSFlight wireless GPS telemetry
systems -- including the ability to track multiple objects
simultaneously in real time -- to existing software packages.
"We’re very pleased to provide this library to our customers
and partners as a simple (and no-cost) extension of our existing
software products," said GPSFlight General Manager Walt Wiley.
"The DLL makes it possible for application developers to add
support for real-time tracking of the position and speed of
multiple moving objects to existing systems without reliance on
fee-based carrier networks." GPSFlight decided to release the
decode library following requests from multiple end users with a
wide range of unique applications.
GPSFlight, Inc. develops intelligent, small-sized
GPS-integrated telemetry transmitters featuring highly
sensitive, long-range spread spectrum wireless data links. The
company has developed proprietary data storage and transmission
technology that permits real-time tracking and analysis of
multiple objects using a single receiver and PC. This flexible
platform is ideal for vehicle and personnel tracking, telemetry
and control and is currently in use in commercial, government,
and military applications where cellular-based solutions are
ineffective or cost-prohibitive. GPSFlight systems have been
used successfully to track moving objects at line of sight
distances in excess of 50 miles. Small and lightweight, the
GPSFlight STXe transmitter integrates a long-range
spread-spectrum radio unit with highly accurate WAAS GPS. The
onboard intelligent TracIDÔ CPU
manages data collection from other add-in boards such as
barometric altimeters, memory recorders, and remote-control I/O
for interfacing and controlling other devices, and provides data
compression and network synchronization.
